Must have missed that part. I only remember it showing those two and their younger selves drawing together. I didn't take that as them going back and killing themselves at all.

Up until that point, I had really liked what was done though.

Gorou proving his loyalty.

Kitaoka accepting his fate happily - though he never did make that date.

Asakura being robbed of revenge and finally just gunned down instead of arrested.

Ren in absolute anguish.

Shinji dead after finally making up his mind.

It was all very powerful and emotional and I loved it.

Then time gets reset? (Though with Odin apparently defeated and use of the Time Vent card not shown, I don't buy it so easily...) That's not a good ending.

It was better than Episode Final at least since it had an ending, and I've yet to watch 13 Riders... But still. It wasn't my favorite outcome, because it made that emotional roller coaster they had just put me through and tore it all down.
