About to watch Try myself and I am massively excited for it!

I did however already see the first two episodes of Reconquista and man am I not sold on this show. The G-Self is a great design, the opening theme absolutely rocks too. So far that's about all the praise I have though

The characters are very bland and one-dimensional as are their designs. I can't stand these Eureka 7 style character designs as is, but the animation feels so stilted and lacks fluidity. I'm just not impressed so far with Reconquista. From bland characters to a plot that so far doesn't feel very original, I'm sad to see Tomino has lost his wild sense of creativity that flourished with Turn A. It's gonna need to do a lot in the next few episodes for me to get interested.
