I've never been a fan of solid capes in toys. I know a lot of people like them better because of various reasons like dynamic posing and stuff, but cloth capes just tend to work better in that you still have all the movement of the figure with no restrictions.

It's like if you buy a Batman and they make a Batmobile, but due to the figure having a solid cape, there's no way he can sit inside the Batmobile kind of situation.
