So one show that grabbed my attention since a while has been Flashman. It was one of the 1980s sentai that has classical elements of super sentai while also being one of the first extraterrestrial team considering they were trained and bred in outer space by aliens that rescued them.

The show goes like this; 1966 five Earth children were abducted by alien mercs who had a job from Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess to secure human specimen for experimental purposes. But luckily the infants were rescued by aliens from the planet Flash. These children were then raised in planets nearby the planet Flash which helped them hone different attributes from each other. 1986 hits and they are finally called to go to Earth to stop Mess from turning Earth into a gigantic science project. It is from here the story begins.

Looking back this show is an awesome show to check out if you are not sure which 1980s sentai show you want to watch. The five heroes are a well-balanced cast with the courageous and noble leader Jin as Red Flash, the muscle of the group Dai as Green Flash, the youngest and agile Bun(read as Boone) as Blue Flash, the intelligent Sara as Yellow Flash, and the tomboyish combat beauty Lou as Pink Flash. This show also had a young Nakata Joji aka Roshuo from Kamen Rider Gaim and voice of many characters such as Sol Badguy in Guilty Gear play the alien merc leader responsible for the theft of the Flashman's chance at life as normal Earth people. The show was also the first show to have two robots, Flashking and Flashtitan.

The later part of the show gets serious as the anti-flash syndrome starts appearing due to the Flashman's bodies having a reaction to the surroundings of Earth. This puts them on a time limit to having to finish off Mess AND leave Earth before they die.
