After watching episode 3, I am really starting to get into Kamen Rider Drive. This episode had some nice touches, such as the idea that the Shift Cars are off doing their own thing, "working a different case" as Mr. Belt puts it. While this series does have a lot of light aspects, I am enjoying how our hero, when he "gets into gear," becomes very serious minded and driven. I also liked the insane artists, and the lampshade hanging of the name Kamen Rider. Good universe building as well with Proto-Drive and the introduction of Machine Chaser. The Tire Koukan concept didn't jive with me at first, but now I am starting to "get" it a bit more. So looks like I am on board (or should I say, my engine has started) for Drive. Heck, I just ordered the vinyl!
