Chapter 2 final part: Going deeper....

"So at long last the day is upon us Goth" Takato growled at Blaise. It was early in the morning and as they walked to where the garden center was the teen known as Nightmare Red was uneasy. He really didn't have any proof on hand to prove he played no part in the damage that took place yesterday."I'd make what you wish to say short and sweet. Those who believe in the darkness have no place in the light and dusk has finally fallen on your career hopes" Just as Blaise opened the door he received a bit of a shock:

The garden center was as good as new with Aiko,Greg and Grant looking pleased with themselves. Alasdair looked annoyed as per usual but Melia was positively beaming with happiness."We shown the file footage we found to the owners and they found you to be innocent of all charges, Blaise"Grant calmly stated to him."So it looks like you owe someone an apology,Takato" While he really didn't want to, he knew it wasn't wise to fight when there was nothing worth fighting for.After saying he was sorry to the group he sulked off, knowing he had something else to do today.Something important indeed.....

"Unbelievable. Your first two days and there's more drama going on than a soap that's past its prime. You have no idea how thankful you should be to use,do you?" Alasdair inquired.Melia jabbed her elbow into his sides sharply and turned to Blaise, a big smile on her face."Fixing the plants was easy as pie with my powers. The other parts, well, that's the work of the others.Housework isn't my thing,Y'know"

Aiko placed a conferring hand on Blaise's shoulder."You had a rough day as did all of us. Perhaps it is wise to relax and take it easy today.You've earned after helping us with Cyborg Drake." "Thank you everyone.I know I'm still learning the ropes on this Sentai thing but I'll never stop trying to improve myself."With that optimistic saying Blaise looked up into the blue sky and wondered if all days would be this way on Earth.

Meanwhile Takato was fuming about what had transpired earlier. He never enjoyed being around the Goth subculture, not after what happened before to his parents. He was only a boy of about 7 or 8 when two arsonists burned down his house in a fit of madness. His parents died getting him out and since the smoke was so thick and dark he could only make out that they were wearing dark clothing. From that day onwards he hated those who loved the darkness,Goths especially.But he wasn't alone for long. Not long after the insendent someone adopted him. Someone who told him about the world beyond Earth's light. The world of Nox Aeterna and the threat that world would pose to humanity. For many long and admittedly lonely years he trained in all manner of combat, to drive away the forces of OverShadow and all who followed him. Now that time was upon him to rise up and defend his home from the monsters than came to this world.

A portal of soothing light rose up in a alleyway. On the other side he could just make out the face on the one who gave him a home and a purpose beyond revenge. Making sure no one was looking he walked inside, the portal fading away into the ground as he did so.

Next time: Melia wasn't always one with a hair trigger temper. But just who was the one who made her this way? The dreaded Scorpius makes his way back into her life and this time he's targeting a dear friend of hers in his scheme to help out Overshadow's cause!
