It's a nice service to at least get the core mecha, but sometimes it is still cheaper to import the Japanese mecha if you know where to look. Except if you abuse sales and other coupons from TRU.

Shinken Oh was still $70-$80 to import at the time that the TRU release came out, but Gosei Great and GokaiOh are generally cheaper on the Japanese secondary market because they're newer, not as popular, or some other reasons. Also doesn't hurt that the Yen to USD exchange rate has gotten a lot more favorable for the US in the last year or so.
