I can actually understand why they don't explore that idea. It's a rather heavy theme that can fill entire novels to explore and explain.
To put such themes in a children's show would either be too dreary for the audience if properly explored or too basic and one note if they only scratch the surface.

A team of robotic heroes is one thing. To explore the idea of AI being superior to humanity is like asking Asimov to make a Power Rangers season
