[Starblast]

parts of me thought it was pretty good. parts of me thought James Van Deer Beek really needed to get attention and thought this would be a fun vehicle. I applaud them for referencing stuff that happened after mighty morphin. parts of me also think they watched Mortal Kombat Rebirth and took that concept and ran.

on the flipside...if they were going for a serious tone for a PR film we want good acting and RPM, and Timeforce run circles around this. Dino Charge and Jungle Fury actually may even comparably run circles around the acting here. At least in terms of stuff that isn't ADR in those series.

But oh well. For a free youtube short it wasn't terrible. I also don't feel it was super offensive. If anything something like this just promotes the brand and explores what all they could do in a movieuniverse with all of the giant mythos they have.
