That's because he's not King.

He's Gentaro Kisaragi with ninja skills. Space Kitaiiii!!!! It's not a bad thing, just fun to watch. I also see some Momotaros in there too.

Just like Kasumi is the Luka of the season, even though Fuuka has her hairstyle. I'm glad though that Fuuka wasn't used as the comedy prop this episode. I've got a soft spot for her.

The episode was a good foothold for more stories. We got our first big general, a little more backstory for the protagonists aide, and it was a Nagi focused episode, even though most of the Ninningers seem to be paper thin for their character development. The only one that has any real dimension so far is Kasumi due to how she's shown she's the one with the common sense.

Is it wrong that I wish Nagi was more like Sawada from Faiz? Perhaps it's the banana b-boy getup.
