[Talisman]

So here's the rundown:

- Got in at about 830 and was running around because they weren't clear on where to go and what to do for general admissions ticket holders. Finally got situated around 0930. Was texting Uchi the whole time.
- Doors opened for us peons at 10. Uchi arrives, walks right in front and past me.
- Catch up, make him feel like a moron, spend some time wandering the floor before going our separate ways. I nearly slam into Dan Southworth because of his odd location just off of Ranger Alley, attached to a vendor booth.
- Attend a voice acting panel with Dana Snyder and the legendary Jim Cummings (because I still cling to the hope that maybe, some day, I'll overcome my flat affect and become a voice actor. HA.). Long story short, I haven't laughed that hard since the Bulk and Skull panel last year.
- Meet up with Uchi again at the Turbo panel. Many laughs are had, especially when, and after, Paul Schrier crashes in about fifteen minutes into the session.
- We split up again, and I head to the Ultraman panel while he and some of the newsies from elsewhere on the internets go to do stuff, leaving me the only one in attendance. I make use of my new camera's video function to try and capture everything. I fail to realize it does not record AUDIO until much later. Furuya goes on at length about how much he hated the suit action; Everyone learns the proper method of performing the Specium Ray.
- I sacrifice the MMPR panel because A) the Ultraman panel started, and got out, late; B) the line was insane as I understand; and C) I needed food. I proceed to gorge myself on overpriced, school cafeteria-grade chicken strips; for once, the reasonable decision would have been Arbys. I regret my decision but stick with it.
- Back to the con floor for stuff. What stuff? Find out tomorrow.
- Dan Southworth. Finally overcoming my shame of nearly walking into him hours earlier, I approach his booth. A stupid decision, as he was exhausted after the day's events and distracted, but the guy is nonetheless courteous and professional, and is kind enough to humor me humor despite my exhaustion-fueled ramblings.
- Running on fumes having been up since 0200, I proceed to take my leave, but not before taking pictures of as many cosplays as I can; we have a lot of talented folks down here, I hope to track down a few more tomorrow. There's one in particular I've been trying to find...
-Enjoyed the performance of a sax-playing street musician while waiting for my ride. For as much as I detest the song, he did a wonderful rendition of "Thrift Shop".
