However Turbo had horrible villains, horrible costumes (the Pirahnatrons looked like grown men in undersized costumes), pointless cameos that served no purpose other than have Jason shout like a lunatic at the top of his voice, Larago and family, and no explanation for the Zeo powers being dropped.

But most importantly, next to no morphed footage whatsoever. MMPR the movie had little of it as it was, but Turbo took it one step further. The only thing particularly impressive in Turbo was the awesome Megazord formation sequence.

Personally, I'd take a subpar non-canon AU movie that actually felt like a movie over a subpar canon movie that just felt like a bad extended TV episode anyday.

I was going to mention the fact that Justin seemed to only be the Blue ranger because he found out their identities, but then I remembered that worked for Rocky, Adam, Aisha and Kat too. So in reality that's probably all you need to do to be a power ranger
