We had this discussion in a topic recently, a new user asked where to start, and the best answer is: Don't care what others say and start where you want to start. Sure, starting with the very first Kamen Rider and then go chronologically would work.

But there are people who don't care about Showa. Then some people said start with Kuuga, because Kuuga is awesome and defined the modern Kamen Rider. But if you don't like that one? Ehh...

Just watch whatever you want to. I started with Gaim and watched Wizard afterwards and I'm still here.

Kuuga is a great show, if you like it, keep watching. If not, pick what looks promising to you.
