Muscled Action Figures work because they aren't Figuarts. Muscled Figuarts would look doofy, like He-Man on Steroids. But when they're small four inch fingers, or even six inchers, they have to have some muscle tone. Some mass to them. That's why all the Spider-Man figures I've ever seen, no matter how awesome Spidey is, have always looked misproportioned. Because he looks smaller than he should be. And that's how it would be for MMPR figures. They'd look mismatched and small if they didn't have, atleast, some tone to them. Yes, sometimes, they do go overboard. But. It's a small price to pay for such cheaply priced figures.
