Finished Stronger.
Overall, the series was a mixed bag for me. The first half was hard to sit through, as the story and characters couldn't really grab me. Stronger himself was okay, though not super-interesting, but Tackle and Tachibana were terribly ineffective and pretty shallow-written. I was so annoyed by them being kidnapped almost every episode that I sometimes just watched an episode while doing other stuff, because it was so repetitive.
Overall, for a hero character, I found Yuriko pretty weak both in action and in writing. There was two memorable moments, which is the story about her brother and her death- and the latter just didn't have much impact on me because I never really felt attached to her aynway.
Once Black Satan was defeated and Stronger got his upgrade, the show got much more interesting though. While Shigeru and Tachibana remained pretty static, I really liked how the villains of the Delza army worked with or against each other. General Shadow was probably the most interesting character in the show overall.
And I loved the part were the old riders returned. It was good that they didn't all come back at once so there was more focus on them, but I do wish there would have been even more out-of-battle interaction between them. Overall, I really like the thought of all Riders working together and I enjoyed those episodes a lot.
