That's probably the best part about the console cycle going on for so long, PC hardware gets cheaper and cheaper and game requirements don't really go up, so it cost me very little to build a decently high end machine 4-5 years ago and I've only had to replace the graphics card to bring it up to PS4/Xbone levels.

E3 in general was very disappointing this year, no one had any particularly big announcements other than Sony and that was pretty much just multiplatform games. Microsoft announced more sequels to the same tired franchises and Nintendo seemed like they were stalling for time with spinoffs to the things we actually want.
