Okay. So. I've realized my basic backstory for the character also sort of relies on a plot involving his parents, the villains, and the origin of the Driver.

Urg. I don't want to come across like I'm trying to take too much control here, but I really think the three work themselves into each other really well. Let me condense my thoughts and pitch all three together once I've come to a conclusion.

Good writing usually doesn't follow an order of operations or finite steps in its creation. In my experience, it usually starts with a solid overarching idea and works from there.
