I was thinking of what you said, and I looked up asexual. Not because I didn't know what it meant, but because I felt like I was leaving something out of my definition.

It may be considered the lack of a sexual orientation, or one of the four variations thereof, alongside heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality. A study in 2004 placed the prevalence of asexuality at 1% in the British population.


Just because there's no sexual attraction doesn't man that there has to be a lack of romance. And Just so you know, I'm not trying to argue anything you say, just putting my thoughts/opinion out there. You can be romantic and in love and it not be sexual. Just look at Garnet (Sapphire and Ruby). They are in love, but no sexual attraction. So...I just lost my train of thought on this... >__>


Oh yeah!! So maybe the sexual undertones are just their ways of conveying trust? I mean, if you are going to merge yourself with someone you really have to trust them. Or have some form of ulterior motive, like Lapis Lazuli did with Jasper.
