I'm guessing she didn't because of how she viewed things. Also she said "She'll burn out" or something like that. She knew that this was going to happen and eventually come to an end. So she ultimately thought this would help her get it out of her system. That's my opinion.

I know. Would've been cool to see her stop Ruby with her own gauntlet. I think that little moment could've still lead to that heartwarming moment outside >_<
