Unlike Lock Seeds, swappable belts, and similar, I can't think of any reason why these parts need to be removable. I don't get any display advantage from removing the elbow details on Drive. The reason I'm even bringing this up is that some of them fall out really easily. I'm actually a little shocked that I still have both of Drive's elbow details.

Is this just a cost-cutting measure for Bandai to avoid molding unique elbows? Is there some benefit we're getting from this that I'm just not seeing? The closest I can get is Mach's antennae, since I suppose an impact that could snap one of them is more likely to just dislodge it.

Anyone else find this to be an irritation? Should I just calm down?

I think it could be cost when it comes to elbow and kneepads. I've never had too many problems, but I think if it ever became an issue for me, I'd either use floor polish to tighten the connection or I would just super glue it in place. I can't think of any reasons for stability or the like, however, as those likely wouldn't break anywhere near as easily as antennae would.
