[Switchblade]

I think the show has finally sold me on Heart as a character. That scene with him and Shinnosuke in the forest at the beginning really brought a lot out of character out of him that I've never really felt before. I may yet buy him as an actually interesting villain. Medic had some surprisingly engaging moments this week, too. Granted, it was just a variation on Brain's "notice me, Heart-sempai!" shtick from earlier in the season, but it was aided immensely by not being played over-the-top and with a lot of handkerchief chewing.

I haven't really been following news about the movie, so the ending scene really threw me until we got the trailer and I realized who that dude is supposed to be. I did like the extended movie promo at the end, though; haven't seen that since OOO and haven't seen it done well since Kabuto.

I like that the show is getting more heavily serialized as we go through the second half. I'm a lot more open to two-episode arcs if there's also a lot of ongoing stuff running at the same time.
