There is no comparison. Jen isn't even very similar to Blossom, either.
You're taking superficial traits (Colors worn and position on the team) and forcing similarities.
She's not even that smart, being on par with, perhaps a little smarter than Katie. She's only smarter than Wes because of the 1000 year time difference, and she's smarter than Lucas because "GOTTA GO FAST." Trip was the "Smart" one on the team.

Physical traits actually rank third on my list of the criteria that I use to determine equivalent characters between series. Here are my criteria that I use to determine equivalent characters, in order:

1. Role (Jen and Blossom are both leaders)
2. Personality (Jen and Blossom are both smart)
3. Physical traits (Jen and Blossom both wear pink)

I know many seem to overlook the first two. For example, many consider Blossom's Sailor Scout equivalent to be Sailor Venus due to both wearing a bow and having similar hairstyles, however, using role and personality would suggest that Blossom's Sailor Scout equivalent is Sailor Moon, not Sailor Venus.
