Me personally I have to say that Ankh's death was sad because even though he was a greed all he ever wanted was to be human.

Another one is kaito kumon because he was a great character granted he wanted to rule the world but he was still an awesome character and when he died in kouta's arms he told kouta that he was strong which made a tear slip from my eye.

When he came back in the xross-over movie, he was pretty cool. He attacked the Meagher that replicated him. Was kind of sad to his replicant just shut down and fall to its knees when the Megahex were destroyed.
