The catalogue pages had the Spectre Eyecon in the October category right under Robin. And the Hand has October listed as the release date. So. 'Unno.

I don't think it's that odd really. The gadgets aren't exactly cheap, they probably figure they can sell more of the cheaper items than they could the more expensive ones. If they did come with their gadgets that would really just leave Beethoven and Nobunaga as the only Eyecons they could release on their own. It'd be really weird for the DX toyline to only have one or two releases at a real affordable pricepoint.

But yeah, I'm pretty pleased with the fact that they're released separately. I don't really have any interest in the gadgets, and the combined forms with the Saber are quite ugly....except maybe for the Bat Clock. The Bat Clock is pretty cool in all its modes, and it has the most out of all the gadgets. Ironically Billy the Kid is like my least favorite face design so far though...
