I never cared about sub wars. As long as I can understand what the characters are saying, the subs are good.

Kinda wish subbers didn't translate "kisama" and "onore" as "you bastard/bitch" and "damn it" respectively, but whatever.

I think it's just that Fuestles are something Fangires developed for various uses, just like turning Dorans into flying fortresses. And IXA's fakes are Wonderful Aozora imitating the Fangire magitech with science/Bandai keeping the toyline consistent.
