[Shin Densetsu]

A month or so ago I found the 1st translated volume of the recent ULTRAMAN manga at my local Barnes and Nobles. I thought it was okay but predictable. Art is decent. Designs are cool, I dig the modernized, yet recognizable look. Far too often these days when we hear modernized, it usually means "nothing like the original".

Anyways the way the story is going, it seems like the typical "coming of age, boy has to surpass his father with a heroic lineage since he has potential while his father is a relic of the past" kind of thing. Not saying that's a bad thing, but you kind of see it coming after the 1st chapter.

So who's reading it? Any of you like it? I like the covers.
