Well I don't think he should have died that way. I mean he beats grey in the duel they defeat radiguet and then he dies this way because he didn't want the others to worry about him.
I think the other would feel a lot worse if they find him dead.
I can say the wedding was unexpected but they kinda hint that could happen so I'm not mad at that.(even it it was kinda out of nowhere)
But Gai dying that way was not good for me (even if that shows how much he changed)

I feel that if they wanted him dead they could have killed in a more heroic way than this.

The series is one of the best in my opinion and Gai is probably my fav character anyways, but this really felt bad for me.

At least he comes back in that epic gokaiger episode.
