We all had an impression that The Last Ninja was in fact the End Shiruken. Even from Episode 1 where the kids all thought he was dead and poof, he's suddenly there was a good indicator. It's also pretty apparent that the kids have reached the point where they have all surpassed him, and he is ready to use his last power to help them defeat Kibaoni. But we still don't know which family member Kyuuemon is, and Mangetsu needs a whomping.
