Unfortunately it doesn't. I tried several different methods to get it to fit but it's just barely too big.

Great gallery as usual, this really is a beautiful piece. I agree though about the cutaway model part, it definitely takes away the whole point of the thing. While I do understand that it would be useful in some displays where you can't fit the whole thing, like what I mentioned above about it not fitting in a Detolf, I don't think it's worth it. Personally, I'd rather just find some other way to display it as I don't think it's worth removing the majority of such a great looking piece.
