Why do you dislike CGI so much, if I may ask?

Personally I think CGI is an improvement in a Mecha battle. I find mecha battles in Ye Olden Days a bit boring to watch, as they consisted of nothing more than the robot and monster wrestling a bit before the robot initiates his finishing move to end the battle.
CGI gives the creators a chance to add variation to the battles, allowing robots to do a multitude of other attacks, instead of the standard stock footage finishing move.

Well, the whole reason I started watching stuff like this was because I liked seeing the suits in action. I don't really need to see fancy finishing attacks and stuff like that, I just like seeing two guys in suits rumble, even if the suits look cheap and fake. To the point where 90% of the draw for me for Godzilla, Ultraman, Sentai, Rider, etc. is seeing the suits in action. It also doesn't help that the CGI is usually pretty poor.

I've definitely grown to like Sentai itself as opposed to just Power Rangers nostalgia or guys in suits fighting, and I've gotten a bit more used to the CGI, so in time I might dig it. It's not like i'm trying to dislike it. As for right now though, it's still a bit of a turn-off.
