Part One

"You've failed me?" Heckyl paced slowly around the severely trembling desperate monster. "Don't worry." He said turning his back on the creature. "You're forgiven.." Opening his hand slowly power charged within his fingers against his palm, but as he turned to vanquish the monster Heckyl's eyes widened. Through the monster's chest extended a staff of smooth mirrored silver, topped with an angry Z. The staff was violently pulled back from the Monster's chest causing the creature explode furiously as he screamed.
Heckyl had shielded his eyes from the explosion, but as he lowered his hand he stood stunned at his new guests. "And who, might I ask are you, to invade my home.. such as it is." The woman with him, dressed as some strange witch, laughed at the strange goggled boy. "Yes, my love. Tell him who we are.." The male stepped forward. His body senew and exposed muscle, barely covered in the same mirrored silver as his staff. Ending in an angry always grinning faceplate. "Have we been gone that long we're forgotten? You've failed long enough, Boy. So we've come to help." Heckyl frowned and spread his arms before bringing them back near his chest nonchalantly. "And why would I want your help?" Growling the man slammed the speared end of his staff into the ground, instantly vaporizing the guards and vivix Heckyl had secretly tried surrounding them with. Now Heckyl found himself surrounded by strange gray soldiers, each with the same Z across their chest as his staff. And a Golden Gryffin standing behind him, gripping Heckyl by the back of the neck to lift him clear off his feet. "Because you're dead without it.. Boy."
Snide rolled helplessly along the ground, having been thrown out through one of the broken bulkheads. Slamming his hands on the ground he tried to stand only to find himself kicked by the creature with the staff. "You're working for us now. And we have targets for you." Throwing down six pictures onto Snide's stomach the three monsters turned and began walking back for the ship. "Who are you?!" Snide demanded. And finally the creature with the staff turned and laughed at him. "Tell the world, Boy.. Lord Zedd and Rite Repulsa have returned.. and this world is over!" Lifting his staff Rita and Zedd continued laughing as he called down his lightning from the sky and in an a flash the three monsters were gone, with only an army of putties remaining to make sure Snide accomplished his task.

One Week Later

"Here Kendell,, I bring you cold cream!" Koda nodded, handing her the cone as Kendell chuckled quietly. "Ice Cream, Koda. And thank you." The Rangers were taking a well-deserved day off. One of Kendell's algorithsms was searching for the last energems, Keeper was following a lead of his own, and the museum was closed for annual maintaince. So there was nothing to do but recoup and recover. Shelby was in the distance dragging Tyler along to look at each and every shell she found on the beach, because one might be a fossil. You never knew. While Chase tried teaching Riley and Ivan how to skateboard.. Which wasn;t going well judging from how hard Ivan's face met that fruitstand.
Even Kendell was relaxing. Somewhat. She was finally dressed down in a pair of jeans and a tee, but she still had her laptop open even on the deck chair as she enjoyed her ice cream. Keeping careful track of her program. Koda though was trying to decipher how to open his candybar until finally he ripped it open with his teeth smiling brightly and enjoying the treat inside. "Need help with that?" Kendell frowned. "No, but you could move out of my.. light?" Kendell grunted at being thrown but Koda was there "I have Kendell!" Catching her perfectly he helped the woman back down on her feet "Are you hurt?" Kendell shook her head making sure. "No, thank you Koda." And both turned their attention to the man dressed in the torn white hoodie and blue jeans. The rest of the Rangers soon joined them, all thrown into tables by their own opponants. "Miss Morgane, who are these guys?" "I have no idea Tyler, is anyone hurt?" But the man dressed in Red answered for them. "Not yet."
As the man in white reached behind his back the Ramngers looked on stunned. "It's Morphin' Time!" Kat, Aisha, Rocky, Adam, and Billy pulled out their morphers beside Tommy and held them out strong calling out their animals.
Mastadon! Pteradactyle! Triceratops! Saber-Toothed Tiger! Tyranosaurus! White Tiger!!
In blinding flashes of color the original Rangers stepped forward, each holding a twisted version of their weapons based on the Sword of Darkness. Tyler, everyone, stood stunned "They're.. Pwer Rangers?" Shelby asked. "It doesn't matter." Tyler replied. "They attacked us and they don't look like their in the mood for a chat. Miss Morgan?" Kendell nodded and Tyler, everyone following, pulled out his Battery. "It's Morphin' Time! Dino Charger Ready!" And everyone did the same calling out in unison "Ready!" Pulling out their Morphers, and instering their batteries "Unleash the Power!"

The Dino Charge Rangers were barely morphed with the original Rangers began their attack. Shelby leapt back over some scattered deck chairs, sliding beneath a table just as a bolt from Kimbery's bow landing exploding it above her head. "These guys are for real!" Continuing to move she fired from her Morpher forcing Kuimberly to bring her bow up to block.
"No doubt! Still don't know who these guys even are!" Chase brought his morpher up just as Adam brought down his Axe of Darkness. "Hey mate, any chance you'd tell us who you are?" Adam growled and kicked Chase back with a boot to the chest, forcing the DC Black Ranger to roll into away. "Guess not!"
"I shall handle these ruffians!" Charging his Sword with all three batteries Ivan took his stance. "Lightning Strike!" Thrusting his sword into the ground lightning shot from above sending a single wall of energy towards Tommy and Jason, but the pair simply sidestepped. ".. That has never happened before!" He abrely had time to raise his sword to block as both men began their attack.
The DC Rangers fought at every turn. But it started with Ivan. Tommy and Jason sent him hard into a wall hard. Following soon by Shelby, Tyler, Chase, Riley, and Kendell. "We have to fight, Rangers!" Kendell said while trying to make it back onto her feet, which she did just as Koda leapt from behind the Original Rangers. But Jason caught Koda by the throat, shaking his head he threw the caveman on the ground by his friends. "Koda, are you alright?" The Blue Ranger nodded "Y-yes, Kendell. I am okay."
"Not for long." Tommy drew out his own weapon, a twisted black version of Saba and held it high. Above him the Rangers leapt into the skies and brought their weapons together, landing in front of Tommy holding thier Dark Power Cannon. "Fire." Charging the weapon the original weapon fired as the DC Rangers looked on in horror.. but at the last second an aura of gold surrounded the six Rangers. So when the smoke settled all that was left was dust and debris, the DC Rangers having escaped. But Goldar stepped beside Tommy. "No matter, we'll find them again. Lord Zedd and Empiress Rita want you back at the ship. Now." Holding up his sword all seven of them disappeared in a bolt of lightning leaving nothing behind.

Inside the DC Base

Riley winced as Shelby set his shoulder, it was knocked out of joint during the battle. Everyone was nursing newfound war wounds. Mostly cuts, bruises, and a few swore joints. Though tyler swore he busted a rib. Kendell frowned "Thank you, Keeper." Keeper emerged and lowered his hood as he walked through the room. "You are welcome, Rangers. I'm sorry I couldn't come sooner. But the world is graver danger than you know." Tyler stood holding his side and winced. Yup, he busted a rib. "Why Keeper? Who were those guys?" "They were originally known as Power Rangers. Some say the very first. Why they're attacking you now I do not know, but their return could only mean a Greater Evil has been ressurected.. There is someone who may be able to help. But it requires leaving Earth, mentally if not physically. You must stop these Rangers, despite originally being heroes if left unchecked in their current state the Earth is doomed. And the Universe would soon follow." Kendell nodded for everyone "We understand, Keeper." Keeper bowed his head in return "Thank you, Kendell. I will try and be quick." Walking from the main chamber Keeper retired to his room inside their cave. Within the center was a small indent where his staff was placed and stood as a beacon. While he sat before it, legs and arms crossed entering a meditative state.
Riley, holding his shoulders, asked the obvious question. "So where do we begin looking?" Tyler shook his head "We don't. They came looking for us. I have the feeling if we go out they'll come again." Kendell stood and smiled "And we can use that against them! Good idea Tyler!"

Moon's Surface

The Great Beast was dormant. As the Earth's shadow pulled from the surface of the moon it revealed the dark enemy, Serpentara, laid out across the surface. Within Lord Zedd sat on his throne with Rite beside him absently stroking his mirrored silver chin as both watched the corrupted Rangers walk into the throne room with Goldar and Snide. "The Rangers yet live, Master." Zedd nodded. "I know, Fool! That was part of the plan. Now they'll plot, they'll plan, and we'll be ready for whatever ambush they have planned. First we crush their spirit, then their bodies, then claim their power!" Zedd laughed as he stood from the throne and approached the Rangers. "Time for an Upgrade! Hold out your Morphers." And each Ranger, entranced completely, did as Lord Zedd asked. Holding up his staff he called on Serpentara's dormant power, funneling it into their power coins as Rita laughed behind him.
Behind the throne Heckyl watched until his pocketwatch sounded. Opening the cover he frowned "I know." "We can't let them have the Energems, they belong to us!" "I know." "Then what are you going to do about it?!" "Do? Why Snide, I'm going to do the only thing I can do.. Play along, enjoy their game, and when the moment is right.." Snide laughed "We strike!" And finally Heckyl smiled "We strike."
