Sometimes The Wall Hits Back

Snide slammed his fist against the bulkhead of Serpentara as he stormed down the seemingly endless hallway. "Where did they get so much power.." Grunting Snide held his neck "No...!" But it was no use, Heckyl had fought his way free in a flash of blue light had taken control again. Only to lean against the bulkhead and open his pocketwatch to see Snide angrily pacing inside. "That's for me to find out. Patience, Snide. Patience." Closing the watch Heckyl straightened his jacket and returned to the throne room, already formulating a plan to claim Zedd's power for himself.

"You think this'll work?" Shelby asked. She was walking down the street with Tyler, out in the open, and she hated it. Not walking with Tyler. Everything else though she could do without. Like knowing there was a team of powerful psycho Rangers trying to kill them. Tyler nodded "It's Miss Morgan's plan, I believe it'll work. They're after us.. so we're giving them us." "Guys, Focus." Kendell came across their earpieces and both Rangers nodded in unison. She had them all covered from her perch on the nearby roof. Riley was pretending to handle trash for a nearby store, Chase and Ivan were waitering at an outdoor cafe, and Koda was beside her. Trusting his eyes could see something her tech might miss. "Looking for something?" Koda and Kendell turned just in time to be thrown from the roof by Aisha and Kimberly who followed, expertly landing feet away from where the pair crashed into a table of frightened cafe patrons. "How did they get past us?" But she had her answer. As the other Rangers were all thrown around her by the other Rangers the civilians who were once occupying the streets all gripped their clothes and tore them off revealing Putties in disguise.
"Don't feel bad, we've been at this a lot longer than you have." Jason stepped up watching the fallen Rangers. "Just give it up. You're dealing with a new ballgame now.. Its Morphin' Time!" Calling out their dinosaurs the Rangers morphed into their newly evilly upgraded forms. Their colors, red and green and yellow, had now become black. With the white of their uniforms changing to their respective normal colors. And each of them now had a White Ranger style chest shield with their power coin in the center. Each one with a large Z shaped gash tearing through their chest coins. Tyler pulled himself up with the other Rangers and held out his Battery. "It's Morphin' Time!" The DC Rangers morphed, calling on their respect Dino Steel modes as the battle began in earnest. "Mind if I join?" Graphite landed beside Ivan, the pair of them attacking the White Ranger in unison. "Not at all, my Liege!"
Shelby and Tyler leapt into battle against Kimberly and Jason. The DC Rangers using their weapons against the twisted original team. Shelby arial kicked Kimberly who blocked it sending Shelby skyward, but she was ready. "Tricera Drill!" Her drill began spinning with twirling pink energy swirling around the drill as she thrust it downward, launching herself down towards Kimberly who rose her Bow to block. The drill struck the bow sending a shower of sparks flying all around before Shelby leapt off and brought it down for another strike. Beside them Tyler's Chomper blocked blow after blow by Jason's power sword. Untill finally the jaws opened and bit down hard, allowing Tyler to double kick Jason backward. Tyler rushed him again but was taken by surprise by a small group of putties, allowing Jason to leap in and slash at Tyler's chest. Sending sparks, and his body, flying.
Chase and Riley had their hands full with Billy and Adam. Adam brought his axe into cannon mode, Chase readied his Para Blaster and both men fired in unison, their beams meeting between them. Both gave it their all as the energy grew, both struggling to pour on the power until finally where the energy met erupted in a hellish fireball sending both men flying back. In their absence Billy brought his lance down barely missing Riley who countered with his unique style of sword fighting. Blocking Billy and allowing him to take a swipe with his Raptor Talons. Billy split his weapon in half to counter the two-handed style of Riley and began a relentless assault "These guys are tough!" "I know, Mate! I have an idea, Trade-Off!" Riley ducked and Chase struck Billy dead center with his Morpher, spinning it in his hand and rushing towards the blue ranger. Allowing Riley to slash at Adam's back, who was having trouble hitting the quicker Riley. When they had the original Rangers surrounded however they were interupted as Snide gripped Riley's helmet and threw him into the side of a nearby car leaving a dent the perfect shape of his body. "The Green one's mine!" The original Rangers just shrugged and now double-teamed the quickly over whelmed DC Black.
Kendell and Koda weren't having much better luck. They were fighting Aisha alone but she was backed up by a sudden new arrival, Goldar. Kendell took Aisha. Using her sword and morpher to fight off Aisha's daggers. Aisha was quick, striking and moving, striking and moving. Leaving Kendell woefully on defense. "Just give it up, Purple." Kendell grunted blocking another blow "Not in the plan." Combining her weapons she took continual shots at Aisha and became increasingly frustrated as the limber Yellow dodged them all expertly. Behind her Koda brought up his shield just as Goldar brought down his sword "Die! Lord Zedd and Empiress Rita will destroy this world!" "No! Me and my Friends will stop you!" Goldar laughed as he casually kicked Koda away. He rushed Koda, gripping him around the neck from behind and using his powerful wings to carry the frantic Blue Ranger skyward. "Koda!" Kendell cried out, taking aim towards Goldar but instead she screamed and fell to her hands and knees. Aisha had struck her from behind and with a firm kick to her stomach sent her away. Forcing her to demorph.
It wasn't long before the Rangers ended up where they were both. Thrown to the ground, surrounded, Koda being unceramoniously dropped with his friends, and out of options. "The Energems will belong to Lord Zedd and the Empiress!" Goldar raised his weapon, as did Snide and the corrupted Rangers around them. "Rangers, please take cover." "That was Keeper!" Shelby exclaimed "Do as he says!" Kendell ordered and each Ranger took cover as lasers rained down from above. The enemies were all flung backward by the power of it as the great blue ship descended from the skies above. Using it's onboard teleporter to beam aboard the fallen DC Rangers and deposit them directly on the bridge. Kendell stepped forward as Keeper stood beside the center console. "Keeper? What is this?" "The Astro Megaship. Lost to the ages but now found, and I have brought help." The bridge doors opened and stepping through was a strange Ranger clad in black armor. A red gem gleaming in his chest. "I am known as the Phantom Ranger.. I have come to help."

"Rangers. Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa are not from your time." Phantom Ranger explained. The Rangers were all recovering and healing in the ships medbay as he continued. "Before you became Rangers a great battle took place on Earth. Involving who were then known has the Space Rangers. In order to defeat the onslaught on every known world by Evil, Zordon of Eltar sacrificed himself to cleanse the galaxy of Evil. New Evil rose, true. But his sacrifice saved countless worlds. But.. it had an unintended consenquence. The energy which spread through the galaxy also created time disruptions. Small portals in time which open randomly through the galaxy. I've made it my duty to close them when they open, to protect time from those who would exploit it. One such disruption opened on the Moon as Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa began their joined assault on Earth. Through this portal they saw you, the energems, and what they're capable of. Through the portal he used his Putties and Goldar to track down one of those Energems. The Gray Energem. Which he now uses to corrupt the original Rangers and power his terrible Zord, Serpentara. He must be stopped, the energem and the original Rangers must be returned their proper timeline and places in history. Or Zedd will achieve his dream of conquering the Galaxy."
The Rangers all looked at each other, but Tyler stood up to answer for them. "We're ready but we're also outmatched." Phantom nodded. "I know. Which is why I am giving you a Power from your future, and modifying it. When it is finished.. I believe we can strike."

Zedd struck his staff to the floor sending a bolt of energy into Snide's chest, forcing the creature down to his knees. "You failed?" Swinging his staff Goldar was sent away with a single blow. "I give you a team of powerful Rangers, an army of putties, you have them on rheir knees.. and you fail?!" "But Master!" Goldar pleaded "They had a spaceship!" Zedd began pacing. "Phantom Ranger.." Rita smiled, stroking the small jewel on her staff. "Zeddy, I think it's time.." Zedd stopped and smiled, if he was capable. "Ready Serpentara!"
