Frankly that's fine. But you can't ignore that after the Thunder Megazord pricing and now this thing, that people willingly throwing money at these things "damn the expense" is probably some part of the problem. It shows Bandai that we as collectors are willing to pay top dollar even if the final product is rather lacking. That's not good for any of us.

The $80 price is ridiculous for a 99% plastic bird that does nothing. $60 is just as ridiculous. If retail was $40 I could maybe see that. But this figure in no way shape or form offers any qualitative addition to it's design that the original toy lacked, at least not one that would set it apart by this kind of price gap. It's just crazy to think that $80 was where they started with this thing. Because they knew collectors, or at least many of them, would pay that for it.
