[Switchblade]

I enjoyed this episode. I'm sure there's been a time loop plot like this in Sentai before, but if so I don't remember it. That made it feel pretty unique to me, even if it meant seeing a lot of recycled footage.

Something dawned on me after watching this: Zyuohger is possibly the most serious Sentai series we've had in years. Aside from Uncle Mario dressing up in animal costumes (which he only does occasionally), the show doesn't have any aggressively goofy comic relief like the old man in Ninninger or the conductor and his puppet in ToQger. There's still comedy, but it doesn't feel like it's ever being forced down our throats. It's really weird to see Sentai being the relatively serious show next to Kamen Rider.

Also, Tusk's actor really isn't very good at the whole acting thing.
