Is this a coincidence? Did one of the shows rip off the other? They both would have aired arond the same time, so I'm not sure.

Well, looking up air dates, the Megaranger episode aired in June, while the Turbo equivalent aired in November, so it's very possible that they saw the Megaranger episode and brought it over (Especially since this was during classic Saban era, where they'd film an episode in a day )
