Tsuruhime was trained from birth to be a Kakuranger. That's why she's the leader, and why she's better and more experienced, despite her age. I sincerely have to ask if you even watched Kakuranger because this is VERY clearly stated OVER AND OVER.

Sasuke, Saizou, and Seikai stumbled into their roles at the beginning of the season. Jiraiya was trained in martial arts by his dad and the his adoptive father, but he was not trained to be a Kakuranger. That is why they are less experienced despite being older.

It's really not that hard.

DAMSELS ARE WOMEN, BY DEFINITION.

BUT JUST BECAUSE MALE "DAMSELS" IN DISTRESS AREN'T AS BIG OF A PROBLEM DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY ARE NOT A PROBLEM. IT IS A DEHUMANIZING TROPE REGARDLESS OF THE GENDER. IT IS LAZY AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED BY EVERY WRITER.
