I appreciate it greatly, but I don't think they're thinking things through with this theatrical release. Digimon on its best day has no way of competing with the more-popular always-relevant Pokemon. People will more likely spend their cash on something like that than a cult-following franchise in America like Digimon. Anime film screenings do fine on their own. DBZ's a case of wide-spread popularity in the states (even people who don't even know much about anime know what DBZ is). Having been to screenings for stuff like Madoka Magica, Love Live, Tiger & Bunny and Expelled from Paradise, I can tell you that they'll sell tickets no problem. Digimon fans are more plentiful than you may think.
