It didn't age too well though and the problem is not that the team is all male, but that most of the characters are pretty poorly written. Vul Eagle II and Vul Shark are cool, but not very deep. Vul Eagle I is kinda meh. But Vul Panther... urgh.

The characters' gender shouldn't matter as long as they're well-written. Which doesn't apply to Sun Vulcan. I still thing it's good they usually have mixed-teams, because it's more fun to watch. You can variate plots more and playing with how the characters interact is a nice touch. I don't need another team of just one gender, but if they make it awesome, then yay.

Great point Suzu :-). What matters is how the characters are written. With proper chemistry and traits the audience can identify with, that's a factor for a shows success as well :-)
