I wouldn't say Sentai is inferior at all. Kamen Rider and Sentai are just aimed at different crowds and thus will do different things. Doesn't necessarily mean one is intrinsically better than the other.

Jetman is a pretty good show but it does suffer from having episodes that are disconnected from the story at hand. When people call Jetman a great show, they're probably talking about the love triangle, Gai as a character, and Tranza more than the day to day episodes.
