Hell, even looking up pictures of the 1/100, it's closer, but it doesn't get it right.

It's less horizontal than the lineart. Like for example the crest and chin don't protrude as far forwards, and the eyes are not as far back and to the sides. The model kits go for a more typical 'human' face.
