This is my take on it:
It's a good release, designed to do exactly what it was made to do....improve on the original, make money, and inspire hype for its later components. Yes, it's smaller, and alone both the original & Legacy Falconzords do little on their own. But the sculpt & paint over the originals aging stickers, and it's loved/hated Zordbuilder gimmick put it over the original. Not to mention the cost of finding and getting the original, and it's components as it's probably well out some people's reach. Ultimately, if you love it or are all in with this line, or at the very least are planning on getting Ninja Megazord, get it now. If you're in the least bit turned off about it, don't. It's not hard people. I get giving informed opinions, that's why this is here for. But ultimately, it's up to the individual to get what they want.

Besides, I have sneaking suspicion that either of this seasons future releases will come with special wingtips to facilitate the missile firing effect, just to compensate for this one-trick-pony. But that's just me.
