This was awesome. Bunglay finally brings some more character to the villains, for one with himself being much more interesting than the other generals so far and two it seems Kubar will get some spotlight now.

It looks like he’s frightened to know that Bunglay read his mind, which would suggest that he’s planning something no other team leader and especially not Genis should know about. I imagine Kubar plans to take over the Deathgaliens himself as the new owner. Which could play out really well if Bunglay somehow blackmails Kubar, forcing him to do some tasks for the Mega-Beast Hunter instead.

This might actually be a welcome turning point, since Bunglay seems to have his own reasons to be on earth. If he only plans to use the Deathgaliens and has Kubar trapped that could bring out some real conflict and thus more interesting scenes in the villain field.

I’m optimistic that Zyuohger can finally work on its weakest part, the villains.

And of course, the episode itself was really great as well. Yamato is such a great Red, and his family being slowly pulled into the spotlight seems very interesting.
