I guess that goes back to the general sloppiness Ghost has that keeps coming up. I still think the sheer amount of (frequently major) things people who really don't like the show forget is kind of insane.

After all, this is a show for kids, and it isn't afraid to spoon-feed you it's messages through dialogue. Which brings to one last thing I wanted to say about Mugen, since I don't think I described it well enough in my last post.

It'd be cool if the way he got the special attacks was just by feeling them or whatever, but they went a step further. It's the lesson he learns about the importance of said emotion that does it. Stuff like "happiness is contagious", or "it's important to understand why you're angry". That's the formula all those episodes after Mugen debuts use and it's why they're all still VotW stuff. So the story that week can directly be about the message.
