Nice little episode. I like Bunglay going around doing his own thing, but he's still not doing enough for my liking. And while it seems Genis is aware of whatever Kubar is planning, they're still not giving him the time to actually do anything.
I really hope the Kubar subplot isn't sloppily resolved. I'd put my faith in the show, but the villains is kind of the one area where they trip over their own feet.

Speaking of, it seems the birdman has finally reappeared. I kind of wish his presence was stronger, since he's kind of a vital plot point (Also, the subs here call him "Bard," but didn't the leak or magazine call him "Bird?" Or is this just a tomato tamahto situation?). Unsurprisingly, he has connections to Larri. Really, I'm just happy they're back. Being past the halfway mark now, I hope Kaixa/Bird/Bard kick starts a plot shake up.

As for the rest of it, it was okay. I liked Yamato's old friend, though he was kind of bland, but he's a one off, so whatever. However, I don't like how the other rangers (Including Misao) all jobbed to Bunglay, while Yamato can casually toss him around. I know it's a red centric episode and Reds tend to be the strongest of the base team, but it's kind of head shaking. I would've much preferred if Bunglay used his memory powers to conjure up a few monsters and take pot shots at the rangers while they handled them. It would better justify their loss, at the very least.
