Yep. Says so in Wikipedia Japan.
Prior to that it seems that they just aired it without any fancy titles and then 2003 hit and you know the rest.

Little fun fact regarding when super sentai shows aired:

Goranger episode 1 ~ Turboranger episode 31 were on Saturday afternoon(some during early evening)
Turboranger episode 32 ~ Megaranger episode 7 were on Friday afternoon
Megaranger episode 8 and onwards were on Sunday morning as we know
