I've been busy with exams and such for the past two weeks, and finally got to sit down and watch Ex-aid today...

I didn't know what I was expecting, but they definitely blew me out of the water.

The action has been really good so far; Ex-aid's wire-fu, Brave's typical hack-en-slash, Snipe's heavy gut-punches, and even Genm's "charge in and overwhelm the opponent", all help each rider feel distinct in battle.

The jokes were just alright, and I guess the director's thought so too, because it feels like they've been toning down on the funny faces and "slip on something" gags with each episode.

So yeah, it's been a blast so far.
