I don't know maybe agree to disagree. if it was all one color that wasn't shades of grey and silver I could see this as lead mech in an anime. well not with those feet but yeah I think the rest is solid. Honestly I like this design the head it cool I get a cockpit vibe from it, and I love mechs with wings. I think that might the biggest problem is it like Lucky said it doesn't feel like a Power Ranger/Sentai mech.

On another note I am now sure that this image is not the final product that it is a promotional image of a uncolored prototype with photoshoped color. I make this claim mostly because as i photoshoped it i noticed a lot of color bleed on parts that shouldn't have that color like red on the wing from the shoulder. Though this is very minor. Another thing I noted was the hinges what is this toy going to do.

Yes, that is what I'm saying. It doesn't look like a mech, it looks like some sort of bondage space knight in his bedroom slippers from a dollar store knock-off line. I know everyone has different opinions on this thing and I'm not trying to change anyone's mind here, but I do not understand the hoops people are willing to jump through to defend the design choices in this movie. Or, in fact, why some folks find it so hard to believe that anyone could have a negative opinion of it. If someone likes it, great. More power to them. It's all subjective here. I just don't.
