Well, I was more thinking the best way to portray other planets would just be to have the civies in alien costumes with some appropriate scenery. Slap a suitable filter on and you have at least a passable foreign world.

I'm well aware of the budget constraints, which is part of limiting the number of "unique" locales so as to portion more time and funds to each, allowing them to be better while still being cost effective.

I know that it's all probably set in stone by this point anyway, but it's just something I like to speculate on.
