It's not lazy, it's stupid and misguided, and, mark my words, this movie bombs, it'll be due to them wasting their efforts on pointless crap.

Although... after the zords, this design isn't so bad. It has all the basic parts it needs to resemble what it's supposed. Is it perfect, or even good... no, but it at least passes muster, IMO. It's butt ugly, but you can at least see where the notes were made. Short, red and has a disk for a head... I'll give it C... minus... but still a pass.

Suits>Alpha>Zords, when it comes to looking right.
