I feel like Bandai should create a Build-Your-Own Gunpla line where you pick the base model (Based on Scale and Grade of course) then proceed to customize it with either other parts from the other kits or with some specially made parts that they offer. Also sending some pain in the colors of your choice and a brush or two and just gauge the price accordingly would be a great thing to do. That way you don't have to be some sort of crafting genius to make a custom gunpla. Although I do see the appeal in the traditional way I just feel like its a bit out of reach for those who want an awesome looking model like that but are on a budget.

It's really easy to make custom Gunpla these days, especially if as said previously, you're into IBO. In fact, rather frustratingly, some of the less notable suits of season 2 are only available by customizing using option parts, like the Landman Rodi.
